Apply to Volunteer

Thank you for your interest in volunteering. We can’t wait to welcome you to our volunteer team. Volunteers are important in supporting important animal welfare activities and we are grateful for the time and energy each volunteer has donated. Please read the following information before you start applying for volunteers. If you have any questions, please contact us. I will be happy to answer.

1. AZ hamster rescue “volunteers” are those who devote their time and energy to the purpose of animal welfare and do it voluntarily without expecting any financial reward other than a refund of the actual costs.
2. Volunteer activities can be terminated by either party at any time and there is no legally binding contract.
3. Handling animals carries the risks and risks of bites, scratches, illnesses and allergic reactions. Volunteers must follow the rules and safety instructions provided by AZ hamster rescue representatives and volunteers authorized to act as supervisors. AZ hamster Rescue shall not be liable for any injury or damage to my property resulting from my negligence or other conduct.
4. We want to ensure that volunteers have a clear understanding of their role and are provided with appropriate information about policies and guidelines. If you do not follow the guidelines, you may be told to stop volunteering, so ask if you have any questions. > Volunteers need to respect the need for confidentiality. Please refer to our privacy policy and always keep confidentiality.
5. As a volunteer, it is important to understand your responsibility for the health and safety of yourself and those around you. Rude, unreliable, and dishonest volunteers are probably excluded from our volunteer program.
6. Volunteer needs to witness funding and communicate effectively with experienced volunteers and representatives.
7. Most activities require you to be at least a teen or older, and if your younger than 12,  you will need a parent/guardian with you. 
8. If you do anything that threatens or damages the reputation of the AZ Hamster Rescue, you will be immediately asked to stop volunteering.
9. As a volunteer, you need to fully support the goals and objectives of the AZ Hamster Rescue, including your approach to animal welfare.
